At Budder Brudders, we recommend you start low, and slow. New to cannabis totally, start with 5-10mg. Tried cannabis, but new to edibles, try 10-15mg. Use this first time as a way o gauge your tolerance. If you want to try them to get benefits but not “feel too high” small microdoses may be for you. Some people microdose as small as 2.5-5mg.
Taking too much can lead to a bad experience, but it is important to remember that you cannot overdose on edibles. Low and slow.
We recommend starting with a standard dose of 10mg. It may be best to try before smoking anything that day. You can use this as a baseline to gauge your edible tolerance.
Edibles affect everyone differently. There are many reasons including if you’ve eaten anything prior, what you’ve eaten, if you also smoke, if you’ve smoked already that day, THC content in your usual cannabis, how your body metabolizes cannabis, etc.
We have been using a pure THC distillate, which is basically a hybrid, instead of the old indica/sativa/hybrid shatters. It allows us to have a much more accurate dosage and gives a real tasty product. Unfortunately, we will not be having separate strains anymore.
It can take anywhere from 30-90 minutes for you to feel your edible kick in. Sometimes up to two hours, depending on what you’ve eaten that day. Generally the more you’ve had to eat, the longer it can take to kick in. Edibles are longer lasting than smoking due to the digestion process.
Yes! We have had our products lab tested, so you can be sure you are consuming high grade cannabis products.
All our products should be kept in a cool, dark place with the bag zippered. All candy products should have a 6-8 week shelf life. Our baked goods are best consumed fresh, but they can be kept up to 6 weeks if kept in ideal conditions. Our edibles can also be frozen to consume at a later date.
